Orders & Payment

How do I pay?

With PayPal, a debit card, or a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Every payment runs through PayPal's secure gateway, and you do not need a PayPal account to pay by card. Details are in our Payment Methods.

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can check out as a guest. An account only saves your address for next time.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, within 24 hours of placing it, and after that as long as the order has not left the shop. Email us your order number and what you want changed. The full process is in our Cancel & Change Order Policy.

Is sales tax charged?

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable and shown before you confirm the order.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

$4.95 flat for every order, whatever it contains. There are no surcharges.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday begin processing the same business day, and processing takes 1 to 3 business days. You get a tracking email the moment the parcel leaves.

How long does delivery take?

Transit is 5 to 7 business days after dispatch, so most orders arrive within 6 to 10 business days of being placed. Our Shipping Policy has the full breakdown.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not at the moment. We ship to street addresses in the United States only.

Where do I track my order?

On our Order Tracking page, using the order number and the email address from your order, or on the carrier's site with the tracking number we emailed.

My parcel says delivered but nothing arrived. What now?

Email us your order number. We open a trace with the carrier ourselves and replace or refund a confirmed loss, so you do not have to chase it.

Returns & Refunds

What is the return window?

30 days from the delivery date, for any reason, as long as the henley is unworn and unwashed with its tags attached.

Who pays for return shipping?

We do. A prepaid return label lands in your inbox within 1 business day of your request, so a return costs you nothing.

Do I have to explain why I am returning something?

No. A reason helps us decide what to stock next, but you do not have to give one.

How long does a refund take?

The timeline, from the day your parcel reaches us to the day the refund is issued, is set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Can I exchange for a different size or sleeve length?

Yes. The quickest route is to return the original and reorder, so the new one ships right away. A direct exchange is also available with free shipping both ways.

Can I return a special order item?

Not for a change of mind. A special order item that arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect is covered under our Return & Refund Policy.

Products & Sizing

What is a henley?

A collarless knit shirt with a short buttoned placket at the neck. Buttoned, it wears like a tee with a little structure. Open, it reads closer to a shirt. We stock them in short sleeves and long sleeves.

How do your henleys fit?

Regular through the chest and easy through the body, with a hem meant to be worn untucked. The short sleeve ends above the elbow. The long sleeve has a cuff that grips the wrist so the sleeves stay put when pushed up. Each listing gives flat measurements for chest and body length.

Should I size up for the long sleeve?

Usually not. Both cuts share the same chest and body length per size, so the size that fits you in one fits in the other. The long-sleeve knits are a little heavier and relax slightly with wear.

Can I wear a henley open under a jacket?

Yes, and that is one of the main reasons to own one. The placket gives a jacket something to frame without the bulk of a collar. The About Us page covers layering in more detail.

How should I wash a henley?

Follow the care label on the shirt. Buttoning the placket before washing keeps the buttonholes from stretching and the placket from twisting in the drum.
